Nexus Data Cable

Smart Phone is such a wonderful gadget that user is enabled to do anything and everything with the pictures he clicks. So when someone is clicking the pictures and saving them on to the phone should have a data cable to send them to a laptop or to a Computer. Smart Phone is such a gadget where you can enhance the pictures by editing them, adding text etc. So once user edits these pictures, the next step is to connect the Nexus data cable to a computer or a laptop to transfer the data.

The reason why one must keep transferring the data is, though, the data is saved to a Memory card when you keep it free the load on phone is less. Also it is always better to have a second copy on a laptop or desktop by transferring the data. This is because the pictures are memories and memories are always worth a back up.

The data cable for nexus comes along with the other accessories. The Nexus data cable is only a wire with 2 jacks to be connected on one side to the smart phone and second one to the computer where the backup needs to be taken. User can transfer pictures, songs, videos, contacts and messages as well from a smart phone to a computer. If you are using the datacable to transfer the data from one phone to other the Nexus phone takes it it in two formats. CSV and VC. One should be careful while doing the transfer by ensuring that the contacts are moved in CSV format. CSV format allows multiple contacts for single name where as VC format allows single contact only per one name. One should be thorough with the manual of nexus phone before they actually transfer the data. Though we are using the datacable it needs a lot of work on the computer if you are importing the contacts from a computer to the Smart phone. You must ensure that the CSV files are all segregated into the fields you need and then start importing. While connecting and disconnecting any of the Nexus adapters there are specific instructions given and one must follow them. This will avoid in corrupting files and then eventually being unable to use them.

A simple way of connecting the Nexus data cable is after you connect the USB jack to computer on one side and smart phone on the other side, the user should be able to see the notification panel n the phone. It will ask you to confirm the datacable connectivity to computer, the moment you touch it will connect. Once you confirm and connect to the computer you will be able to see your USB storage as one of the drives on computer (in my computer screen). Then you can start sending and receiving the data between computer and phone. During this time user will not be able to access Camera, Gallery, etc because they are USB Storage dependants and the USB storage is already in use.
